Contemporary Art Show in Toronto, Canada: TOAE, July 5-7th 2013
May 7th, 2013I have just received some great news. I have been accepted to TOAE (Toronto outdoor art exhibition) again this year which runs from July 5th -7th. I will be posting more information about my booth soon.
About the event:
Now in its 52nd year, the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition [TOAE] is a juried showcase featuring contemporary fine art and craft that takes place annually on Nathan Phillips Square, every July.
As the largest juried outdoor art exhibition in Canada, TOAE offers a fresh-air alternative to conventional art shows and galleries. Hundreds of artists participate and an estimated 100,000 visitors attend the exhibition every year. Side by side, established artists, undiscovered talents and innovative students sell their work directly to the public and make lasting connections with art dealers and collectors.
Contemporary toronto art show this weekend: Arts on the Credit
April 27th, 2013This weekend I am attending Arts on the Credit at the Waterside Inn in Port Credit Mississauga. Please come out to support myself and 30 other artists. There is quite a bit of contemporary art as well as many craftsman selling their work at this event. More information on the Art Show page.

April 25th, 2013The summer is almost here which signals the beginning of quite a few art shows for me. It all starts this weekend at Arts of the Credit, then 2 weeks from now at Insomnia Restaurant on Bloor St. west. Starting at the end of May look for me at ArtBomb, a Canadian online art auction. Details for everything are below.
Arts on the Credit
April 27th and 28th I will once again be at Arts on the Credit with all of my art for sale along with 30 other artists and craftsman. Last year was a great event and I am looking forward to attending again. If you are attending, please print the complimentary admission ticket and bring with you. For this show I have received some media attention and done some promotion. Visit my press release page and you will find links for a TV interview on Rogers Daily and radio interview on HazeFM.

Insomnia Restaurant & Lounge
I am pleased to announce that for the month of May my artwork will be on display at Insomnia Restaurant & Lounge on Bloor St., Toronto. I will be hanging on May 6th and open to the public on May 7th for 1 month. I have quite a bit of space at Insomnia and most of my work will be on display. It will be a good mix of my pixelated portrait and pattern paintings.
On May 7th there will be an informal reception at the Restaurant at 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend to come and enjoy the great food and atmosphere of Insomnia. Please let me know if you plan to attend so I can be sure we have table space available. You may view the event and RVSP on my facebook page.

I was inspired to start a new painting by the vast sand dunes and sky during my trip to Morocco. Please check out my blog here to get a clue as to what I am currently painting, it should be done for the Insomnia show.
Moroccan trip to Erg Chebbi Dunes and Transahara Festival
April 13th, 2013
I have just returned from Morocco where I attended a Psytrance festival (Transahara) at the Erg Chebbi Dunes and roamed through the Medina of Marrakesh, what an amazing time I had. I did lots of exploring through Marrakesh, found some great treasures and had fun haggling with the vendors. At the Dunes it was all about enjoying the surroundings and dancing to house music and a bit of trance. Travelling from the Dunes I was just mesmerized by the Atlas Mountains. I took over 1000 photos and here I am sharing some of my favourites with you.
