I attended Jane’s Addiction last night at Massey Hall in downtown Toronto. Jane’s Addiction always was and still is one of my favorite bands to see and it was great to see them come out to such a small intimate venue. I was on the floor this night and I must say the seats are infinitely better then the balcony seats.
This is the second time I have seen Jane’s Addiction, I also seen Porno for Pyros once. No disappointment at all, they rocked it last night. Perry Farrell’s voice was great and Dave Navarro kicked ass with his guitar. While the stage wasn’t as elaborate as the first time I seen then, they really worked the space well and it was more of a grungy rock and roll type show, while the first time I seen them it was kind of like Cirque du Soleil.
