The 7th Spirit Yogathon – 108 Sun Salutations and Kirtan

One of my favorite yoga studios ( Free Spirit Yoga ) is having a charity yoga event in Port Credit, it is a yogathon to raise money for world hunger. If you are interested in either sponsoring me or participating, please contact me or download the registration form here. More details below…

On Saturday June 23rd, 2012: The 7th Spirit Yogathon
Come to have fun, expand your being, support and give service to those hungry in the world. All included in the Yogathon! This year, the Yogathon is all about … expansion.  And itself, the Yogathon is expanding since this year we will be joined by friends internationally!  And, there will be a Kirtan for the first time ever at this event,  guaranteed to raise your vibration and elevate your spirit.

Here is how the Spirit Yogathon works:
9:00 am –  Registration – coffee and tea, cosmic cookies and fruit provided by Starbucks and Planet Organic.
9:30 am – Warm up
10:00 am – 12 noon  Yogathon (108 Sun Salutations for World Hunger)
12:30 pm – 3:30pm – Garden party and lunch (everyone is invited to stay and are welcome to take a refreshing swim, make a mala from beads, or socialize)
3:30 pm – Draw for prizes  (all registrants and attendees contributing the minimum donation of $20.00 will be entered in a draw for prizes)
4:30 – 6 pm – Kirtan
6:00 pm – Bonfire and celebrations

Interested? Excited? Ready for radical expansion?
In this case, please:
1. Recommend the event to a friend or to your family that may be a yoga enthusiast.
2. If you would like to bring a favorite dish or beverage to share it would be greatly appreciated.
3. Do a last minute push on your fundraising, for the World Food Program.
4. Children participating would need to be accompanied by an adult.
