Blazing Heart
The colours and her expression are what caught my attention and inspired me to paint this woman.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 36" x 36"
Best Supporting Actor
A political piece. What I am saying is simple, don't believe what the media tells you. Was the war on terror and the Iraq war no more than a ploy for corporations to make more money through stealing the middle eastern oil, or did the U.S. really save us from the evil Middle Eastern terrorists?Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 36" x 36"
Orange on Blue Chrome
This second painting in the chrome set.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 12" x 12"
Blue on Orange Chrome
This painting is the first of the chrome set. I had a lot of fun playing with the contrast and I am considering making a similar painting on a much larger scale.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 12" x 12"

More circles and squares, I plan on creating a series of circles and squares based on design fundamentals.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 30" x 30"
Wonder
With this painting I was trying to capture the look of wonder on this young boys face, hence the name.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 36" x 36"
Focus
Having fun with circles and squares, I think this will be my direction for the next few paintings.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 30" x 30"
I Love You Cerulean Blue
This is the next evolution of the Pixel Glow painting, I made it much bigger and added more glows.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 48" x 36"
A Digital Canadian Winter
I was experimenting with using very subtle colours for this pixel painting. It uses 4 slightly off white shades which were randomly placed on the canvas to give the effect of snow.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 24" x 36"
...by any other name would smell as sweet
My second painting inspired by a rose and using my pixel style of acrylic painting. I not only painted the canvas, but grew the rose as well.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 30" x 30"
Pixel Glow
Premixing colours and precise planning was the theme for this painting. It needs to be seen in person to get the full effect. This is my favourite piece, I have plans to create more paintings in this style.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 30" x 30"
Pixel Rose
I had a lot of fun with this painting, it helped to define my technique for future pixel paintings.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 30" x 30"

Infinity
Another painting where I used a palette knife instead of a brush.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 30" x 30"
Blue Stripes
My first experiment with using a palette knife to achieve a smooth finish.Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 24" x 18"

I am glad you like it Tim.
I really like Infinity, it has a quality to it that makes you feel like you are being drawn into the painting. Quite mesmerizing actually, very cool Justin! Can’t wait to see more of your pixel work too, the snow is very nice.
Thanks for coming by Nicole.
FOCUS is my favorite….great work Justin!!!!!
Thank you Sanja,
If we have a meeting this week, I’ll come by and then walk you over to see it, if it fits your schedule.
nice. Way to nice to be at the local community college. Getting use to seeing junk called as art. Even most of the stuff they buy. Had one exhibit that actually had a plastic shelving unit with stuff you could find in a garage as an exhibit. Can of paint, bean bag chair etc. That was the nicest peice on display…. :O
Thanks for the compliments. For the other types of art please remember that it is very personal, and who can truly judge what is and what isn’t art.
Blue Stripes and Infinity really caught my eye….. Great work justin
Thanks Rob, it was great to see you again. Thanks for visiting my website and lets make sure we keep in touch.
I really enjoy looking at your pixel series. In particular, Pixel snow. It had a calming effect on me that i enjoyed. I felt the need to scroll back up after the first viewing to look at it again for a minute. The subtleness is warming even though you used cold colours. awesome contrast!
Thank you Steve, I really appreciate the feedback
Focus & Infinity are my favs. Fantastic work Justin. Blessings to you.

Really like the pixel glow… Well done, surely a great eye.
Thank You Jennifer
I quite like “Blazing Heart” the colours are just really nice, and the image is astonishing. And the little boy in “Wonder” is cute, he looks kinda familiar. Pop icons might be neat to try. Good work…
Justin, you’re great!
Thank You Mandi
